The Kiwanis Club of Ridgetown was chartered in 1947 and has grown to become the epitome of all that is Kiwanis. Through the years, the club has had a huge impact on the Ridgetown community, spearheading the swimming pool and tennis court campaigns, sponsoring 4-H, organizing the Santa Claus Parade, the Teddy Bear Picnic and the Easter Egg Hunt, financially supporting the Howard Mutual Medical Centre, the Ridgetown Adult Activity Centre, as well as supporting the needs of countless local children.
Join Us:
The Kiwanis Club of Ridgetown meets every Thursday night (September – June) at 7:00 pm at Mr. Zion Presbyterian Church on Main St East. We usually get together for dinner beforehand at a local restaurant.
Our meetings feature brief business proceedings and a programme on topics varying from local to international issues, new ideas, or entertainment. We are light on formality and the main ingredient of each meeting is fun!
Meetings in July and August have a more relaxed format usually at members’ homes.
Through Kiwanis membership, we help our local kids and community and build great friendships.
